The Institute of Social welfare and Rural Entrepreneurship Development
The Institute of Social Welfare and Rural Entrepreneurship Development (iSRED) is a not-for-profit organization committed to empowering rural communities through innovation, skill development, and sustainable growth. Headquartered in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, we work closely with farmers, women’s self-help groups, youth, artisans, agripreneurs, micro-entrepreneurs, and rural producers to build a future where opportunities are accessible to all.
At iSRED, we believe that rural development is most powerful when people are equipped with the right knowledge, tools, and support systems. Through our training programs, capacity-building workshops, handholding initiatives, and community outreach activities, we create pathways for improved livelihoods, enhanced incomes, and long-term socio-economic resilience.
